- On-Farm Butcher Shop – Back at the ranch, you legally cut, grind, and package meat under the USDA retail exemption—the same way big supermarkets do in their back rooms. This means you can transform a carcass into steaks, roasts, and ground beef, ready for retail sale.
- Farm Market + EBT – Open your own farm store or market and apply for SNAP/EBT retailer approval. With authorization, you sell directly to households, making your products accessible to every family in the community—not just those who can pay cash or credit.
- Local Distribution – Expand reach through limited wholesale sales and cooperative routes. Deliver boxes to families, supply local schools, or serve restaurants—all within USDA’s 25% cap on non-household sales. This keeps you compliant while still growing your market.
